Joanna Ehlers – Sella<\/strong><\/h1>\n<\/div>

Joanna Ehlers,<\/strong> a Kansas City native, has been described as a bold and compelling performer with a \u201cwonderfully powerful\u201d dramatic mezzo-soprano voice. Ms. Ehlers is a seasoned performer of both opera and choral repertoire and makes frequent appearances with Cardinalis Chamber Choir under the direction of Dr. Anthony J. Maglione as well as the GRAMMY Award-winning Kansas City Chorale under the direction of Charles Bruffy. Ms. Ehlers appeared most recently as the self-righteous Madame Pernelle in Landlocked Opera Inc.\u2019s 2022 production of Mechem\u2019s \u201cTartuffe.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ms. Ehlers is the co-founder of the new Kansas City chapter of Opera On Tap. When not performing, she enjoys hiking and spending time with her family. Ms. Ehlers is thrilled to join the cast of Mother Noah for this exciting new opera.<\/p>\n<\/div>
